GLEN GROUP OFFERING GOOGLE ADWORDS CLASS IN NOVEMBER
Glen Group's Donna Stuart, a Google Adwords Qualified Individual, leading the two-part course
NORTH CONWAY, NH - More people use Google than any other search engine on the Internet. Glen Group, a North Conway advertising and marketing firm, is offering a course designed to help small companies build their business using Google. In the course entitled, "Getting Started with Google Adwords," an industry expert with Glen Group will help businesses set up an online pay-per-click advertising campaign with Google. Google Adwords advertising can be a highly cost-effective way to promote a business because the advertiser only pays when someone clicks on their ad.
"Getting Started with Google Adwords" comes on the heels of a highly successful series of Google Adwords courses Glen Group held in June and September. The courses will be held Wednesday, November 7 from 8:30am - noon, and Wednesday, November 14 from 8:30 - 10am.
Glen Group filled their conference room to capacity with local businesses looking to expand their online knowledge and raise their company's website visibility during their previous sessions. The two-part course will allow businesses to have a week of Adwords experience under their belts following part one before reconvening to review their results.
Donna Stuart, one of just 200+ Google Adwords Qualified Professionals in the U.S., will teach the course. An experienced marketer who has been with Glen Group for nearly 25 years, she has developed and currently manages Google Adwords campaigns for clients all over New England and oversees the Google Adwords campaigns of a national nonprofit.
Stuart explains, "This course will be geared to the small business with a website and a modest advertising budget even as little as $50 per month, depending on the industry they're in. Whether the business wants to reach local customers or people all across the country, Google can be a powerful business-building tool. It's also highly flexible: the advertiser can stop and start the campaign on a moment's notice, set a daily budget, target certain geographic areas, advertise a variety of products or services or just one - in other words, create a campaign that meets their needs."
The two-part course is designed to help the business set up a basic campaign, understand how to analyze results and what steps to take to improve those results. Stuart continues, "Bed & breakfasts, restaurants, retail stores, businesses that sell their products or services online, service businesses everyone from accountants to builders and hair salons can benefit from this course and Google advertising."
Participants will be introduced to search engines and how they work, the types of online advertising available, the basics of pay-per-click advertising and what a business needs to know to prior to setting up a basic Google Adwords campaign. Stuart will then walk participants through setting up a basic campaign for their business, with participants returning one week later to review results of their campaigns. She explains: "First you need to understand how to structure a campaign; then you need to understand the results. We'll look at the initial results of participants' campaigns and discuss ways to track and improve those results, and what to do next."
The two-part session is $125, and will be held at Glen Group's offices in North Conway. The first session will be held November 7, 8:30am - noon with the second following on November 14, from 8:30 - 10am.
Participants will need to bring a laptop computer (unless prior arrangements have been made) and, in order to activate their campaign, a credit card to which Google can bill click costs. Wireless Internet service will be provided. Each course will be limited to ten participants. To reserve space, contact Glen Group at 603-356-3030.
