Are you technically curious? Always looking forward? Do you play well with others, and can you build a great website?
Glen Group, an interactive advertising, marketing and PR firm in North Conway,NH is looking for the right technical website developer. We build using a CMS so our clients manage their content. You'll do the technical build – integrate the HTML, CSS, php/mysql – with an eye towards usability from both the client and their website visitor. Also, if you’ve got some network management experience, that's a plus.
Requirements:
- Object-oriented PHP
- work with some sort of CMS system : Drupal, Wordpress, etc
- XHTML/CSS/Javascript
- SQL (MySQL)
- Unix Command line
- Light System Administration (Linux Web Servers and Internal File Servers, Mac computers)
- Version control software (SVN/git)
- Adept with image management (fireworks, photoshop)
- Ability to examine a website project and offer suggestions for improvement
- Ability to work with designers, account managers, copy editors
Nice to have:
- Web site development experience
- A demonstrable desire for growth
- Excellent people skills
Bonus:
- Eye for good design
- Object-oriented javascript/jQuery
- Flash
- AJAX
- Module development experience with open-source content management systems like Drupal or Wordpress
- eCommerce, Magento
